DESCRIPTION:Go Green Hilliard is hosting our community Earth Day recycling event on Saturday\, April 11 from 10am – 1pm\, at the Franklin County Fairgrounds\, 4951 Northwest Parkway\, Hilliard. We celebrate a bit earlier due to some incredible partnerships with the Fairgrounds – and residents will have the ability to do more together at the event! \nHelp Hilliard “Go Green” by recycling this Earth Day! \nEnter the fairgrounds at Gate 5 on Northwest Parkway to drop off recycling for the following items: \nElectronics\nRenTek will collect electronics for recycling. \nSome items will have a disposal fee: CRT monitors\, $30; printers/scanners/fax machines\, $3 each; MACs\, $50 each; tube/projection TVs\, $3 per inch\, and LCD/flat screens\, $10 each. All fees must be paid in cash. No hazardous materials\, smoke detectors\, alkaline batteries\, fire extinguishers\, small appliances\, tapes\, disks\, or books. http://rentek.net \nStyrofoam\nThe City of Hilliard will collect Styrofoam for recycling. Styrofoam food containers and peanuts will be accepted. No tape and all items must be clean of all food or other contamination. This collection will be in addition to the everyday Styrofoam drop-off across from the Municipal Building\, open 24 hours a day\, 7 days a week. \nReusable Household Goods\nVolunteers of America will collect used or new furniture\, doors\, appliances\, cabinets\, lumber\, tools\, windows\, lighting\, flooring\, and much more. \nOffice Paper to be Shredded\nAll paper will be shredded onsite by Black Ops Destruction.
