Reuse your old trash containers…repurpose them for yard waste!

Now that the City of Hilliard has provided residents with 65-gallon carts for recycling and trash, many residents are wondering what to do with their old garbage cans.  Instead of putting them out at the curb to be hauled away to the landfill, why not use them for yard waste pick-up?  Your old trash containers can easily be converted into yard waste collection containers by stopping by the municipal complex during regular business hours and picking up free ‘Yard Waste Only’ stickers.  This saves you money and time by not needing to purchase yard waste bags and is a great way reuse your old trash containers.
