Black Ops Destruction will shred documents in their truck on site. 

Accurate IT will collect a variety of household electronic items for recycling. There will be a fixed charge to recycle some televisions.

Go Green Hilliard is proud to host several semi-annual recycling drives for our community!

Drives are usually held in the Spring at Earth Day, in the Fall, and during Winter Break. Each drive focuses on certain items such as document shredding, electronics, Styrofoam, and reusable household goods.

Please find more details about what we can and cannot collect at our drives below. 

Document Shredding

Collected during our Earth Day event and other select semi-annual recycling drives

Office papers only. Newspapers, magazines, and cardboard should be placed in your recycle container for weekly curbside pickup.

Each resident will be responsible for emptying their own boxes of office paper into the shredding totes.

Each resident will be responsible for taking their empty boxes back with them.

Each car may only have 3 “banker boxes” to unload. A banker box is roughly 16”L by 12”W by 10.5”H.

Electronics

Collected during Earth Day and other select semi-annual recycling drives

Computers and peripherals, office and telecom equipment, mobile devices, data center equipment, home entertainment and larger household appliances. Please do not bring hazardous materials, items with Freon, smoke detectors, alkaline batteries, or small household appliances.

Note: Some items such as televisions require a disposal fee.

Polystyrene

Collected every day at the Municipal Center and our semi-annual recycling drives

Please remove tape, paper and any other contaminants from the packaging. Clean expanded polystyrene (EPS) only and foam peanuts only. Please separate and bag foam peanuts. We do not currently accept construction-grade foam, expanded polyethylene (EPE), foam sheeting, or food-grade foam containers.

GGH cannot collect hazardous waste

Go Green Hilliard is not equipped to collect hazardous waste like paint, gasoline, or other items at our recycling events. For information about how to safely and sustainably dispose of hazardous household waste, please visit SWACO's link to the right.
