Annual Earth Day Celebration
The Hilliard Environmental Sustainability Commission is proud to host our annual Earth Day Recycling Drive every year! It is currently hosted at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in the first half of April, in conjunction with the 4H Walk and Serve to build a stronger community together.

Recycling in Hilliard
Building effective and accessible recycling systems in Hilliard
Go Green Hilliard works to educate and provide opportunities for residents to recycle within our community as effectively as possible. We help Hilliard Recycle Right with SWACO and with other programs throughout Hilliard.
ESC partners with Terracycle to provide recycling programs at the Hilliard Community Center in Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park, with a recycling station built by our own Ed Cheshire.
ESC also works with the City of Hilliard to secure grants for additional recycling systems, such as Hilliard's Styrofoam densifier and composting program at the Hilliard Municipal Center.

Keep Hilliard Beautiful
Keep Hilliard Beautiful (KHB) is your local Keep America Beautiful affiliate. Founded in 2017, KHB is a grassroots volunteer organization that is functioning at the neighborhood level in Hilliard. We encourage collaboration among community groups and organizations to share project ideas and opportunities, and ensure the community is working together on common goals. KHB is associated and works closely with the City of Hilliard’s Operations Department, Recreation and Parks Department, and the Environmental Sustainability Commission (ESC).
