March 16, 2018As a part of its 2018 Earth Day Celebration, the City of Hilliard is hosting a variety of recycling/donation drives.
All collections will occur at the City of Hilliard’s Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10-noon at the Hilliard Community Center.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore – ReStore accepts a variety of new or gently used remodeling materials, from door handles to appliances, electronics, and lumber. The items should be reusable, structurally sound and complete, functional, cosmetically appealing and sellable. Please visit restoremidohio.org for a list of acceptable/unacceptable items.
Styrofoam Recycling – Remove tape, paper, and any other contaminants from packaging. No food-grade Styrofoam is allowed (includes meat packaging, cups, plates, egg cartons, etc.). Keep Styrofoam peanuts in a sealed plastic bag.
Community Computer Alliance – CCA collects and recycles computers and peripherals, office and telecomm equipment, mobile devices, data center equipment, home entertainment and larger household appliances. Please do not bring hazardous materials, items with Freon, smoke detectors, alkaline batteries, or small household appliances. Note: some items such as televisions require a disposal fee. Allshred Services – We are collecting office paper to be shredded offsite. Paper will be kept in locked bins and picked up by Allshred Servicess immediately following the event. For more information, please visit http://www.allshredservices.com/.
