In partnership with Hilliard’s Environmental Sustainability Commission, the Ohio State University is running a mosquito control program to determine methods for reducing mosquito populations while protecting our beneficial insects (known as pollinators). Ohio State needs some volunteer households to receive free mosquito control (pesticides and non-pesticide options).

Click the Non-traditional Methods button to learn about the non-traditional mosquito treatment options which help our pollinators, including possibly using mosquito-specific traps in lieu of pesticides. 

Click the Traditional Methods button below to learn about the traditional treatments where you may receive free mosquito sprays from a local, licensed pesticide company.
