Hefty RENEW Recycling Program
August 25, 2024Welcome to Earth Day in Hilliard, Ohio!
Like last year, Hilliard's Earth Day celebration will be held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds with our partners 4H and the Walk and Serve event!
The Walk and Serve event begins at 8:00am shortly after the the 4H Clover 5K, which will start at 7:30am. Please enter Walk and Serve through Gate 3.Â
Our recycling event starts at 10:00am and runs until 1:00pm.  Please enter the recycling event through Gate 5 on Northwest Parkway. Â
The map to the right will show you event traffic flow.Â
We will feature five opportunities to recycle and reuse the refuse you want to be rid of!Â

Street Closure Alert
Electronics
RenTek will gladly RECYCLE broken electronics and keep their often toxic components out of the landfill.Â
Home Goods
Our partner MidOhio ReStore with Habitat for Humanity will gladly put your working, gently used home appliances to good REUSE.Â
Styrofoam
The City of Hilliard will collect more Styrofoam to be mechanically condensed and RECYCLEDÂ in our densifier, the first in the Columbus area.Â
Clothing
Please welcome our new partner, Volunteers for America, who will gather all of your gently used clothing for REUSE.
Paper Shredding
BlackOps Destruction will safely shred any excess documents right on site so that you can feel confident that your information is secure as the papers are RECYCLED.Â
