Please review the FAQ and register below to help us run a smooth and successful Recycling Drive this coming Earth Day!Â
When is Earth Day 2024?
It's early this year! Earth Day 2024 Hilliard will be held one week early on Saturday April 13. Recycling starts at 10:00am and continues until 1:00pm.
Where is Earth Day 2024?
It will be held in the Franklin County Fairgrounds. Please check our our Map from last year on the 2023 Earth Day page.
What do the Earth Day 2024 volunteers do?
On this page you can register to help with the Recycling Drive by directing traffic and answering questions for those who are dropping of materials to be recycled or reused.
I registered to volunteer! Where and when exactly should I meet with you?
Thank you! Volunteers please arrive at the Fairgrounds at 9:15am on April 13th at Gate 5 on Northwest Parkway. You can see the yellow Volunteer Area marked in the 2023 Earth Day map from last year here.We plan to follow a similar pattern this year. It is also available on our 2023 Earth Day page.
What should I wear? What kind of safety equipment will you provide?
Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. We will be standing outside for about three hours.
The ESC will provide visibility safety vests to make sure all of our volunteers can navigate traffic safely!
I would rather help with the 4-H Walk and Serve or learn about the Hilliard Rain Barrel Project. How do I do that?
That's great! Please contact 4-H or Franklin Water and Soil: Community Backyards through the links on Our Partners page from last year. Let us know if you need any help!
