Styrofoam Recycling

Styrofoam is generally one of the hardest materials to recycle, and as a result, many recyclers do not accept the material. So this Christmas, once all the presents have been unwrapped and the children are busy playing with their toys, what to do with the packaging???

Big Green Head and Phoenix Recycling, Inc. are hosting two post-holiday Styrofoam collection drives in Central Ohio.

Details:

• Accepting Styrofoam (expanded polystyrene) packaging
• NOT accepting packing peanuts, egg cartons, food containers, or anything that has touched food
• Suggested donation: $5 to help defray cost of collection
