Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz

GoGreenHilliard holds a Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz every September with the National Recreation and Park Association.

What's a BioBlitz?

A BioBlitz is like a nature treasure hunt: take as many pictures of local insects, birds and plants as you can with the iNaturalist app.

Every photo helps park managers protect the homes of our butterfly, bee and hummingbird friends.

Fall into Recycling
This recycling event is held every October on the Friday that Hilliard schools are out.

We recycle electronics and paper at this event.

It runs from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Hilliard Municipal Building parking lot, by the Little League Fields.

Waivers

All volunteers must sign a city waiver to volunteer. The waiver is available here.

Anyone younger than 18 must have their guardian submit a waiver on their behalf.

Volunteers between 16 and 18 can volunteer as long as their guardian submits a waiver on their behalf.

Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian for the entire event in addition to submitting a waiver for both the guardian and the minor to participate.

Community Service Hours

For students 16 years and older, we can verify community service hours if the minors submit a city waiver signed by their guardian.
