Improvements to the Clarence W. Latham Educational Park are Coming Soon

Latham Park is a little, hidden gem located at Cosgray Road and Scioto Darby Creek Road directly north of the CVS. It currently includes a few parking spaces, an unfinished walking trail, a stocked pond, and a white gazebo. While it’s a pretty park, future improvements will make the park a more desirable and accessible place to visit.

These improvements will include expanding the trail the entire way around the pond, as well as adding a play area, a shelter, restrooms, additional parking, and a handicap-accessible fishing pier. Ms. Hala Zahreddine, with Urban Park Development, is working with the City of Hilliard and MJC Holdings from The Square at Latham Apartments to manage the project. Green and sustainable elements will be incorporated into the park wherever possible. Additionally, the park will serve as an educational habitat for promoting wildlife and wetland preservation.

This community park will be another fun, educational, and free place for Hilliard families to visit and enjoy. Look for improvements to begin this fall.
